Sylhet Agricultural University Photographic Society-(SAUPS) is back with “ART OF LIGHT: SAUPS 3rd National Photography Exhibition & Competition 2021” for Photography Enthusiasts. For your convenience, it is strongly recommended that you go through the event details and registration procedure.

There are two sections: DSLR/CAMERA SECTION and MOBILE SECTION. Submission of photos awarded previously in any other exhibition/Contest is strongly discouraged. Photographs including sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted if they do not makeup copyright infringement or fraud. The photograph must be the sole work of the entrant. By entering, the entrant confirms that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity and that no other party has any right, title, and claim in the photograph. Photos with watermarks are not eligible for submission. Each participant can send a maximum of 6 photos. The photograph must not hold obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Photographers will be notified about the registration process, fees, and deadlines after the results are published. If any ‘selected’ person does not complete the registration process, his/her photograph(s) will be disqualified, and priority will be given to the waiting list. SAUPS holds the right to examine the authenticity of the photograph/source material to confirm compliance with these rules. SAUPS can use the given photographs for promotional activities, but SAUPS will not use any photograph for business purposes. Awards: (Total Prize Money- 40k) 

For Dslr/Camera Section: 

1. First Place: BDT 13000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine
2. Second Place: BDT 8000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine
3. Third Place: BDT 5000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine

Mobile Section: 

First Place: BDT 5000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine 

Second Place: BDT 3000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine 

Third Place: BDT 2000 + Crest + Certificate + T-shirt + Magazine 

Fakrul Islam Memorial Award (A special Award): BDT 2000 +Crest+ Certificate + T-Shirt + Magazine 

There will be 5 honourable mentions. Each honourable mention winner will be awarded a crest, certificate, T-shirt, and magazine. And every participant will receive a Photo Frame, T-Shirt, Certificate. 

Submission: November 01, 2021 to November 25, 2021 

Photo Exhibition: Second week of December 2021 (date will be announced soon)
