The American-Palestinian supermodel expressed her frustrations and sadness at the recent Incidents In Palestine in a series of Instagram Stories. Palestinian families have been facing eviction within the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
“I feel the pain of my ancestors. I cry for them. I cry for my Palestinian brothers and sisters, (they’re) now, feeling unsafe and scared. This needs to stop, there is NO room for this in 2021!!!! We are proud (to be) Palestinian and we stand with Palestine,” she wrote.
She reposted a lot of content on Instagram explaining the recent events that took place in occupied East Jerusalem. Bella Hadid shared her frustration at the violence that occurred this past weekend near the Al-Aqsa mosque. Hadid shared a photo showing the eviction of a Palestinian family in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood dates back to 2009.
