During this running pandemic Govt. Science College Science Club didn’t stop, they arranged their “1st Online Scientist Mania 2020” successfully. So, holding the legacy they are going to arrange “2nd Online GSC Scientist Mania 2021”. They can’t bring all the segments that are usually announced for Online limitations. But they assure you, all the participants are going to have a wonderful Online Mania by diving into “Omega Autos Presents 2nd Online GSC Scientist Mania 2021 Powered by Al-Madina Pharmaceuticals”.
Categories: Junior (Class 6-10, SSC – 21) and Secondary (Class 11-12)
Event Schedule: 15 October to 17 October 2021
Project Display, Digital Poster Presentation, Olympiads, Extempore Speech, Solo Quiz and STEM Writing – all these segments are divided into two categories, Senior (College) and Junior Category (School). For the other segments both School and College students can participate all together. There is no registration fee for any of these segments Except Team Based Quiz, Photography and Gaming. Registration Link will be provided soon.
Segments:
Project Display: Project Display participants must make a short documentary/presentation on their own projects. Each team should consist of a minimum of 1(one) participant or maximum 2(two) participants. You need to send that documentary to their provided Mail. Selected participants’ names will be published, and they will judge your project directly in a video conference with the respected judges.
Olympiad: There will be 6 Olympiads. Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Robotics&IT and astronomy. Olympiads will be taken by their website’s Form. They will publish the registration form for the event. Your “Registration Code” will be provided through your given email address. You will be notified before the Olympiad.
Digital Scientific Poster Designing: Participants have to register from their provided link. The topics of the Digital Poster is open in any scientific category. The Poster Presentation can be both in Bengali and English. Copying from the internet or other posters is strictly prohibited. You may be disqualified for doing such things. You have to submit your poster in jpg/jpeg/png format. Top posters will be published in the event discussion.
Solo Quiz: Questions can come from every possible subject or simply put, it will test your general knowledge. Exam will be taken through google forms. The exam link will be provided through email.
Team Based Quiz: Team Based Quiz will be taken on an online platform. Each team should consist of a maximum of 3 participants or a minimum of 2 participants.
There will be two rounds: Preliminary Round and Stage Round. The preliminary round will be a written test. Top 6 teams from the preliminary will be qualified for Stage round. Stage round will be held on Google Meet. In Team Based Quiz, students only from School and College can participate.
Registration Fee: 150 BDT (One hundred and fifty) per team.
Criminal Identification: Participants have to register from the provided link. This test will be taken by Google Form. That participant who will answer most correct answers in the provided time limit, will be announced Winners.
Multimedia Presentation: Participants have to register from the provided link. They will give you some subjects and topics to make your presentation. You must use the recommended software to create your slides. Copying from the internet or other slides or document is strictly prohibited. You may be disqualified for doing such things. Recommended Software: Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Google Slides
Extempore Speech: Participants have to register from their provided link. This spontaneous speech will be best taken by an online platform. Participants have to join them on their provided online room for meeting. That participant whose speech will be highly appreciated by their honorable judges will be the best announced winner.
IQ Test: Participants have to register from their provided link. The exam will be taken by their websites. There will be some IQ based questions. That participant who will answer most correct answers in their provided time limit, will be announced winner. They will soon publish a detailed post about IQ test soon in their event discussion.
Memecon: Original and freshly made memes are allowed only. Each participant can send a maximum of 2 memes. Only Image Memes are allowed. But Plagiarism is not accepted in the competition. Images must not have Obscene, Provocative, Defamatory, Sexually Explicit, or otherwise objectionable or any inappropriate content. It’s a submission basis segment, so participants have to submit their meme in specific mail before the deadline.
Research Paper Submission: Participants have to submit their Research paper via given mail. The topic of the research paper is open in any scientific category. This competition is open to all. The research paper must be unique. Any kind of plagiarism will ban the research paper from this event.
STEM Writing: Participants have to register from their provided link. They will give you some subjects and topics to write your story. Copying from the internet or any other article or document is strictly prohibited. You may be disqualified for doing such things.
i. Topic will be open for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
ii. Top 10 writings will be published on their official website.
iii. Any kind of plagiarism is forbidden.
iv. It can be in both Bengali and English.
v. Word limitation is minimum 500 words. Mail will be given in individual post.
Google It: Participants have to register from their provided link. They will give you some questions and topics told search results from Google. That participant who will complete the task before everyone will be announced winner.
Photography (Mobile and DSLR): Participants have been told to send their own clicked photographs to their provided Gmail. Submitting stolen pictures or other pictures is highly restricted. Doing such, your picture may be disqualified. The competition will be held on 2 stages – primary selection and final judgements. More Details will be provided into the individual post in event discussion. The picture must be an uploaded drive file.
Programming Contest: We will soon publish a detailed post about rules & regulations about Programming Contest soon in their event discussion.
Web Development: Participants have to register from their provided link. They will give some tasks related to web development. That participant who will complete the tasks before everyone will be announced winner.
Gaming (PUBG Solo): Participants have to register from their provided link. They will soon publish registration form. Room id and password will be provided through their discord channel. The room will be spectated by experts. Total 3 match will be held and the final result will depend on the average of all match. Hacking is strictly prohibited. If any hacker is found during the match, authority will immediately take action and will kick him out. I-Pad and Emulators are Not Allowed.

Gaming (PUBG Squad): Participants have to register from their provided link. They will soon publish registration form. Room id and password will be provided through their discord channel. If any hacker is found during the match, authority will immediately take action and will kick him out.
