Well, back in school and college days, many of us did brilliant science projects and amazed people. But since we are in lockdown, we are not able to represent this to people. Worry not, because this event is presenting you with the Project-Video Contest. Key factors of this segment:
Any undergraduate student from an Engineering background can participate in this contest. Students can go solo or students from different universities can form a team together with a maximum team member of 3 members. As it is arranged by IEEE CUET WIE AG, they are encouraging female students to participate. The project should be based on any fields related to IEEE. This segment will be taking place in 3 phases. In the “Preliminary Selection Round”, participants must submit an abstract of their project while registering and it should be within 300 words. The project must be original and must not contain plagiarized material. Based on the abstract of the project, each team will be judged and scored. The selected members of Phase-1 will be the participants of Phase-2 or more specifically the “Semi-Final Round”. For the Semi-Final Round (phase 2), the selected participants will have to submit a 3-minute video of their project. The video can be both a simulation video or the implementation video of their project. Based on these videos, the best projects will get the chance to go directly to the “Final Round”. In the final round, the submitted videos of the participants will be played on the Zoom Platform in front of the judges and they will have to go through a Q/A session based on the video. The submission link will be sent via email. The Champion and the runner up will be announced at the Closing Ceremony of the event.
