In Japanese theaters, “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” has officially become the first Japanese film to surpass the 50 billion yen mark at the worldwide box office. Collection at the worldwide box office is US$458.5 million. It already had its share of success but it just won’t stop. It surpassed “Spirited away” which won academy awards for its incredible filmmaking. However, Not only it became the highest-grossing Japanese film worldwide, but it also topped the US box office on one of the weekends. It will be available on platforms such as Apple TV, Microsoft Store, Vudu, Google Play, PlayStation Store, and Amazon. The movie is set to arrive at digital stores on June 22, 2021. It is also the first time that the annual box office is topped by a non-Hollywood or non-American film.
