A Covid-19 patient has reportedly committed suicide on Friday night by jumping off the 11th floor of Mugda Medical College Hospital in the capital. The patient was identified as
Asif Iqbal Sony, 50, resident of the capital’s Eskaton area. The Hospital staff mentioned a suicide note where the Asif urged to bury him following Islamic Sharia rules. Police in charge of the Mugda Police Station is investigating to find out the reason for the man’s being suicidal.
