This is exactly what happened to some dreamy youngsters of Bangladesh Agricultural University. The hope of realizing their dream has led them to a fresh start, to a new creation.

To make that dream come true, the young optimists have thrown themselves headlong with everything they’ve got. As a result, today we have “BAU Radio”.

There must be one specific name that should be specially mentioned of a person who was the first to dream about this history-making step. That person is Md. Rafat Hasan, a final year undergraduate student from Animal Husbandry Faculty at BAU. Rafat Hasan aspired to this incredible new creation, and over time, 100 new dreamers joined him on this exciting journey, making the impossible task possible today. Currently, Md. Rafat Hasan is the chief contributor of BAU Radio and under his valuable supervision, BAU Radio is progressing towards its vision.

The lack of a radio platform was obvious at this university, where cultural activity is also conducted with knowledge. To fill that void, the online radio platform “BAU Radio” was officially established on June 15 with a grand opening ceremony as a result for the first time, “BAU Radio”, an online-based radio platform, began its journey in the hands of those young visionaries BAU. The event was live-streamed on Facebook.

BAU Radio, which includes 12 departments and over 50 students, has its own YouTube channel, LinkedIn profile, Instagram page, and Facebook page, as well as a Facebook group. It also has an official website which is soon to be announced. With all its social media engagements, BAU Radio is trying to achieve its mission.

The mission to represent BAU with innovative content. It will work as a pioneer of promotional activities for every perspective of BAU. From regular activities to job life, we will cover every detail as much as we can. It will be the hidden and given thoughts of every student of 1231 acres. We will do the talking and they will work as a catalyst.

Finally, it should be noted that BAU Radio is attempting to reach its final destination through a series of small steps. With all of these missions, it is gradually progressing toward its vision of becoming the “Best National Campus Radio Platform of Bangladesh.”
